MOTORESS Becomes Charitable Partner of 'Look Good Feel Better' to Support Women With Cancer
MOTORESS recently announced a new partnership with ‘Look Good Feel Better,’ Canada’s only cancer charity dedicated to helping women manage the appearance-related effects of cancer and its treatment. As a charitable partner, MOTORESS intends to raise awareness for the cancer support program.
Vicki Gray, founder of MOTORESS, says the partnership with ‘Look Good Feel Better’ is important and has a link with MOTORESS. “It’s not easy to decide on just one charity, one cause to partner with. There are so many areas where women need assistance. Yet, the ‘Look Good Feel Better’ program helps women find support, gain confidence, and take control of how they look, using cosmetics and hair alternatives, and strengthening a positive attitude. I find this an essential component in treating cancer.” MOTORESS is proud to be partnered with an organization that has implemented programs in 18 major countries around the world – and ‘Look Good Feel Better’ Canada helps women in over 100 hospitals and cancer care facilities across the country. “We hope not only to raise awareness during different activities and events at MOTORESS, but to help spread the word about this amazing resource,” adds Gray.
